Belinda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Social Anthropology, an Honours degree in Applied Psychology, and a cum laude Masters degree in Research Psychology.
She offers the expertise and knowledge built up over 12 years in the research field. As the sole proprietor of Dragon Consulting she prides herself on offering professional service that is reliable, accurate and thorough.
Belinda began her career in social research, where she worked on the Birth to Twenty longitudinal project, on an evaluation of victim support, and on a study exploring the contribution of school networks to amelioration of child abuse.
Moving on from social research, Belinda worked for many years on the supply side of corporate market research where she gained extensive experience in brand health and advertising development, as well as staff and project management on studies ranging from once-off / ad hoc efforts to long-term tracking. Since starting Dragon she has worked on a variety of projects with different clients, utilizing their philosophies and approaches. In the process Belinda has had the privilege of gaining wider industry and sector exposure.
Industry experience includes both business to consumer and business to business research. Sectors Belinda has worked in include banking, insurance, telecommunications, media/ broadcasting, vehicles, housing, STD’s and sexual health, as well as FMCG (including home care, air care, pest control, skin care, pet care, food & beverages).
